Jigarthanda Double X, the upcoming movie from Karthik Subbaraj starring Raghava Lawrence and S.J. Suryah, will be released in theatres on Diwali.
‘Jigarthanda Double X,’ an upcoming action film starring actors Raghava Lawrence and S.J. Suryah, is scheduled to hit theatres this Diwali.
The gangster action movie “Jigarthanda” (2014) has a prequel called “Jigarthanda Double X.”
Talking about the film, director Karthik Subbaraj said: “I am happy that we have been able to lock Diwali 2023 as the release date for Jigarthanda DoubleX.”
Karthik Subbaraj added: “It’s an ambitious project given the love that the predecessor, Jigarthada received. I am confident that this film will be a worthy successor to its prequel.”
Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi are the three languages in which the movie will be released.
Kaarthekeyen Santhanam of Stone Bench Films is the film’s producer. Karthik Subbaraj wrote and directed the movie.
The film’s production began in December of last year.

Karthik Subbaraj is the writer and director of Jigarthanda Double X, which Kaarthekeyen Santhanam is putting out under Stone Bench Films. It will be released globally on Diwali 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu and features Raghava Lawrence and S.J. Suryah in the key roles.
