Director Rajamouli’s upcoming film RRR has been in the making for nearly 2 years now. NTR and Ram CHaran play the lead roles in the film, as Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju respectively. RRR consists of an ensemble cast from around the world, including Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, along with Hollywood actors Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris, and also Kollywood actor Samuthirakani.
There have been several speculations and rumours on the release date of the film being postponed to next year, due to the second wave of coronavirus. The release of the film and shooting of the film got postponed a lot due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, everyone has been of the opinion that the release of the film would be further postponed due to the second wave.
Contrary to popular beliefs, in a surprising move, RRR is still scheduled to release on October 13th, as per plan, without any changes. With the release of the film in two months, and considering the massive scale of the film, the promotions for the film have been started today, on the occasion of friendship day. The team of RRR released their promotional song “Dosti”, today, which has been sung by five popular singers from five different languages and featured Ram Charan and NTR towards the end of the song. Thus, the team of RRR have launched their promotions in a grand style.
