After winning the National Award, actor Vikrant Massey confirmed that his next film is Dostana 2, starring alongside Lakshya.
The film, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has been in the news for years due to cast changes and delays. With Vikrant joining as the lead the long-awaited project is finally moving forward.
Originally announced in 2019 with Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya the film faced uncertainty after Kartik reportedly left.
Vikrant said that he is excited to be part of his first Dharma movie and hinted at a stylish role, wearing designer outfits and shooting in Europe. While Lakshya is confirmed the female lead is being kept a surprise.
Dostana 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2008 hit Dostana known for its comedy, romance and friendship.
With a fresh cast and modern twist fans are eager to see how the film continues the legacy while bringing something new.
