India has been blessed with good actors and one of those talents will be definitely, Kota Srinivasa Rao. He made many roles come true on screen and nobody, absolutely nobody can be a better comedy villain than him. He is the best ‘miser’ in the world on screen. Recently, news has spread that he is out of work due to his healthy condition and many issues. The actor met the press and expressed his dissatisfaction over the false news.
“I am alive. You can see that I believe. I am deeply hurt with the false news about me. I would have not come in front of you unless and until I felt the need to explain the situation. I am happy and healthy but my age is 74. At this age, I can’t play father roles as I did play them for elder generation of many actors today. I have to be their grandfather on screen and such roles are highly limited. I do have knee pains and that is due to age. I went to hospital to see my friends and regular check-ups but not because I needed immediate attention for a heart issue or lung transplant, “said the actor in his satirical style.
He then continued to say, “I have been acting in movies from past 35 years and before that for at least 10 years I have been a regular on stage. With a total of 50 years experience in acting, I have my right today to chose the role I wish to play. The movies have changed these days and not all require me. Still I am doing six movies this year and Saamy 2 with Vikram as well. I believe it is better if people start spreading news but not fabricated stories as they hurt the families of actors and please don’t play with our lives like this further!”
