She first kissed Vijay Devarakonda in Geetha Govindam on-screen and repeated the same, when she and Vijay re-united for Dear Comrade. The kiss scene is already quite popular from the film that people are only talking about it.
Later, the movie got a name that it is too bold and too much like Arjun Reddy, because of that scene. Actress lashed out on those baseless assumptions and asked people to not judge a movie by just that one moment.
She said, “I am not going around doing kissing scenes on screen all the time. I am a professional actress and I only did it when the scene required me to do so. Don’t judge our film by that scene!”
