Don 3 First Look Didn’t go well with Audience, SRK Fans Disappointed

Ranveer Singh’s first look as Don and the teaser for Don 3 were released earlier today.

On Wednesday morning, it was revealed that Bollywood hotshot Ranveer Singh would portray the legendary role of Don, which had previously been portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Social media, however, was unimpressed.

Javed Akhtar, the father of Farhan Akhtar, and Salim Khan, the grandfather of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who was their then creative partner, created the character of Don. Amitabh Bachchan played the title role in the 1978 film that became known as “Don.”

Farhan Akhtar remade the movie in 2006, and its follow-up, Don 2, came out in 2011. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan played the title role in both flicks. I’m referring about Don 3, whose teaser and first image of Ranveer Singh as Don were released this morning.

Ranveer Singh was heard stating, Sher jo so raha hai woh jaage ka kab poochte hai yeh sab. Unse kehdo fir jaag utha hun main aur phir saamne jald aaneko kya hai taakat meri kya hai himmat meri fir dikhaane ko,maut se khlena zindagi hai meri jeetna hi mera kaam hai tum toh ho jaante jo mera naam hai. 11 mulko ki police dhoondti hai mujhe par pakad paaya hai mujhko kaun? Main hun don.”

However, social media users and fans of the franchise seemed unimpressed. One wrote: “I am become death, destroyer of the entire franchise – Ranveer Singh.”

Another said: “SRK fans disappointment button.” A third commented, “No hate for Ranveer but I think @iamsrk knew that the script is bad that’s why he refused to play DON again this teaser is bad it looks like I am watching an ad! Anyway this is still the beginning and never judge a book by its cover,” said a hopeful user.

Then again, there were others who backed Ranveer. One individual remarked, “Ranveer Singh ki acting mind blowing hoti hai.” “Excitement doubled for this,” one other comment. “Sabhi log khush hai, log pasand kar rahe hai Ranveer Singh ko,” said a third.
