Does Producers exaggerate the collections!

In Tollywood Industry, many insiders are discussing about the collections and their believability from long. There is no credibility to the amounts quoted as the Producers don’t come out with the exact figures for their productions. Many insiders does claim there is an inflation to the numbers and not even the trade analysts are sure about the exaggeration perfectly. It is highly regarded as a malpractice that became a norm due to the fierce competition between various stars and their fans as it became a prestige issue to prove a certain star’s stamina over the other.

The recent Duvvada Jagannadam collections have become the point of discussion as even Producer Dil Raju tried to give out a number this time, quite contrast to his earlier stance. Many wondered on social media with such negative talk and reviews, how come the movie is able to register such big numbers over the week as announced by the producer. Well, certain are showing Sarrainodu example to silence the critics and others are trying to troll the actor and the team, saying there are fakers.

Even makers like Rajamouli did say the producers does exaggerate so that the egos of the stars are satisfied but we still can’t believe each and every producer does exaggerate the numbers. A strong producer like Dil Raju who is also a distributor doesn’t have to exaggerate the numbers to please anyone. Even if he chooses to exaggerate then what reasons does he have to do so?
