We can tell you that! The actress is singing a peppy song for the film, no doubt. But guess what, we hear she was initially not interested. Film’s director G Ashok was impressed when she heard her sing songs which were playing on her iPod. And he asked her to sing for the film but she refused saying she couldn’t!

But then, the director asked the film’s music directors Swaminathan and Selvaganesh to try. And then, they asked the actress to sing once and then decide.. After she heard her recording, she was so impressed that she couldn’t say no.

Guess it takes live example to convince some stars…
