Singham film, released as the 25th film of Suriya directed by Hari. The movie turned out to be a career defining blockbuster for Suriya and pushed him to the top league behind Ajith and Vijay at some places even ahead off them. Neither Ajith nor Vijay enjoy the kind of following that Suriya enjoy in Telugu. Vijay is more strong in Kerala Market though.Well past Singham, Suriya lost on the well established ground with films like Mattran, Raju Bhai/Sikander, Mass. Singham 2 became a Blockbuster for him during this lean run and maintained the value of the franchise. Devi Sri Prasad too became hotshot music director with Singham franchise escalating to working with even bigger stars.
This year, Suriya delivered a special film, 24 where he played the role of Athreya as a villain for the first time in his career. Now he is coming on to the screen as Singham once again. The movie is titled S3, Sruthi Haasan and Anushka are playing the lady leads. The producers of the film announced a special gift for all the fans, they are releasing motion poster, first look for Diwali. The teaser could play along with Kashmora in theatres too.
