Vishwak Sen‘s, Gangs of Godavari, is set for a big release this Friday. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, it stars Neha Sshetty and Anjali as the female leads.
In a recent interview, the director shared a surprising update about the film. He revealed that initially, the idea was shared with artist Anand Ramaraju, and they started working on the story.
The film was originally planned with Sharwanand, but he wanted to wait because his previous movie was emotional. This caused some delays.
Then Vishwak Sen came on board, liked the story, and the film restarted.
It’ll be interesting to see if Sharwanand‘s decision was right or a missed chance. Gangs of Godavari is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music.
