Director Rob Marshall praised Ram Charan & Jr NTR

Rob Marshall, a director, made this statement as evidence of how popular Indian cinema is becoming.

With its worldwide premiere set for May 26th, “The Little Mermaid” has been the talk of the planet.

One of the finest Hollywood directors, Rob Marshall, revealed his wish to collaborate with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in a recent interview with an Indian media.

When asked if he would be interested in working with Indian performers, he immediately said, “Naatu Naatu Actors,” alluding to Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. The two actors, he said, are great and amazing. He also praised their performances in “RRR” and their outstanding dancing abilities. He was particularly taken by their physicality.

Director Rob Marshall’s comment demonstrates the impact Indian cinema is having on worldwide audiences and the rising global appeal of Indian cinema.

The Little Mermaid will be presented in theatres by Disney India on May 26, 2023, in only English.
