Director Karthik Subbaraj’s next is a sequel

Acclaimed Kollywood director Karthik Subbaraj’s last film, Mahaan with Vikram had a direct-to-OTT release last month. Later, reports came out that the talented filmmaker has high chances to join forces with Superstar Rajinikanth after the 2019 film, Petta, the latest buzz is that Karthik Subbaraj is keen on working on a sequel for his 2014 hit film, Jigarthanda.

Reportedly, Karthik Subbaraj is planning to rope in Raghava Lawrence for the lead role in the sequel. Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films banner will be bankrolling the movie.
