MI7, the most-awaited seventh installment of the highly popular Mission Impossible series is in news for the past few years. The shooting for the movie is underway at a brisk pace and is aiming for a worldwide release in 2022.
Meanwhile, for the past few days news has been circulating among Indian channels is that pan-India star Prabhas has been approached for a key role in the film. Through social media platform Twitter, when a fan asked MI7 director Christopher McQuarrie to give clarity on the same, the maverick technician, quoted the tweet and wrote: “While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet”.
By getting confirmation from the director himself, it is clear that Prabhas is not a part of MI7 and all the news in circulation is a baseless rumor. Touted as an adventurous spy-thriller, the latest edition of Mission Impossible stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff among others in prominent roles.
