Director confirmed for blockbuster Malayalam remake

Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum has made a lot of buzz in the Telugu states recently. It is a known fact that popular production house Sithara Entertainments bought the remake rights of this movie. Ayyappanum Koshiyum stars Biju Menon and Prithviraj in the lead roles and the film revolves around egos and its consequences.

As it is a multistarrer Telugu audiences are excited about this remake. A lot of names have done rounds and it is finally confirmed that Rana and Ravi Teja are going to reprise those two roles. Now comes the point, who is the director of the film.

It is extremely crucial to select the correct director for this project as a lot of changes need to be done to suit Telugu sensibilities. For the director, a lot of names have been speculated as well. However, it is now said that Sagar Chandra of Ayyare and Appatlo Okadundevaadu’s fame is finalized. Pre-production works have started a few days back and an official confirmation regarding this will be out very soon.
