Director Bala sends legal notices to Vikram

Adithya Varma, the second remake version of Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy is wrapped up and the film is wrapped up recently. The film is directed by debutante Giri Sayya, who worked as an assistant for Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Arjun Reddy.

The film has Vikram’s son Dhruv as the lead actor and Bollywood film October’s heroine Banita Sandhu is the leading lady in this film.

Varma, helmed by director Bala starring Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram was scrapped as the makers were unhappy with the first copy provided by Bala’s B Studios. Later, makers decided to reshoot the remake from scratch by retaining Dhruv and music director Radhan. They changed the rest of the star cast and crew.

As Adithya Varma has been wrapped up now, director Bala has sent a legal notice demanding that the Adithya Varma team should not use any scenes from the version he has shot. A response to this from Vikram, and the makers of the film, is awaited.
