Ajay Devgn recently spoke about the controversy surrounding Diljit Dosanjh’s film Sardaar Ji 3, which stars Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.
After the Pahalgam terror attack the casting sparked backlash with some groups even demanding a ban on Diljit’s concerts in India.
During the Son of Sardaar 2 trailer launch Ajay was asked about the issue. He didn’t take sides and said such matters should be handled through discussions.
“I don’t know who’s right or wrong. I’m not in his place to judge. Everyone has their own reasons and point of view” he said. He stressed that the focus should be on peaceful conversations rather than blame.
The controversy started because of Hania Aamir’s presence in the film given the current India Pakistan tensions.
Meanwhile Diljit clarified that the movie was shot in February, before the situation worsened and was never planned for release in India.
