Dil Raju, a senior producer and distributor in the Tollywood industry, recently found himself amidst controversies surrounding the upcoming Sankranthi releases. With films like Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ Teja Sajja’s ‘Hanuman,’ Venkatesh’s ‘Saindhav,’ and Nagarjuna’s ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ set for release, discussions arose regarding theater allotment, especially as ‘Hanuman’ stood out as a smaller film among the lot.

Criticism emerged, suggesting that Dil Raju was not supporting smaller films. Rumors circulated that he might release the Tamil film ‘Ayalaan’ in the Telugu states to affect the screening of ‘Hanuman’ and potentially harm its prospects. Frustrated by the negative portrayal of his actions, Dil Raju sternly reacted to the media’s misrepresentation of his statements and news reports.

Expressing his anger over the distorted coverage, Dil Raju highlighted the unwarranted criticisms he faces every Sankranthi, emphasizing that some websites wrongly twisted Chiranjeevi’s words against him. Vowing to take action against websites spreading false news, he declared an end to tolerating such misleading narratives from now on.

Dil Raju clarified that contrary to speculations, he would not release ‘Ayalaan’ in the Telugu States alongside the four mentioned Telugu films. This announcement aimed to dispel any misunderstanding regarding his involvement in the Sankranthi releases and his stance towards smaller films.
