Dil Raju, the producer has been among the few producers who think about the welfare of the Industry. He is also a distributor and we see him investing in more films that he believes in rather than just those that he produces under his banner. He has lent his name to films like Happy Days before and he has been helping the other producers ever since.
This year he released Cheliya, directed by Mani ratnam and now, he is releasing, Vellipomakey. The young love story is one of the most talked about movies on social media. The film has been made on small budget of under one crore and many thought it has the potential to be next Pelli Choopulu in our Industry. The movie even though has been completed one year back, it took all this time as the producers couldn’t find a good release date.
Finally, Dil Raju took over the project and also shown the movie to some of his colleagues. Even though he wanted to release it some time earlier, he had to cancel those plans and wait for the right time. Now, he has announced the movie release date as 2nd September. Yakub Ali Mohammed is the writer and director of the movie. Vishvaksen is debuting with the film has a lead. It is said to be a feel good love story but with a difference. Few who have seen the film have praised and we wait to see the movie on silver screen finally!
