Dil Raju Reveals Reason Behind Postponement of Vaarasudu

Regarding the Telugu release postponement of Vaarasudu/ Varisu, producer Dil Raju along with actor Srikanth had an interaction with Telugu media this morning. Speaking about the release date change for Vaarasudu, Dil Raju said”We want Telugu audience to watch our Telugu star hero films ( Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya) in theatres first, so releasing Vaarasudu on Jan 14. Film is ready and will go to censor today”.

Dil Raju also added”Giving Telugu films priority and screen count consideration I’m taking a huge risk now with two factors in mind. While one among them is my confidence on film, the other one is trust on audience ( he took late releases Kantara and Love Today as example which worked well in Telugu as well). I will try to bring Vijay Garu for a Pre-release event, said Raju.

When one of the reports asked regarding the less theatre count for Varisu compared to Ajith’s Thunivu in Tamil Nadu,”It’s pretty common, Day1 doesn’t matter, long run matters”. It is widely known that Vijay’s Varisu and Ajith’s Thunivu are slated to hit the screens across the globe on January 11th.
