Dil Raju has been made the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation. In this role he will act as a link between the Telangana government and the Telugu film industry to solve problems.
At the same time he is focusing on promoting his movie “Game Changer“. During a media interaction Dil Raju confirmed that there will be benefit shows for the film.
This statement is notable because Telangana cinematography minister Komatireddy Venkatareddy recently announced that no benefit shows would be allowed in the state.
However, Dil Raju clarified that “Game Changer” is a major film and will receive similar treatment as other big films. He said, “Like all big films, Game Changer will also have benefit shows in both Telugu states. We will plan them carefully”.
Dil Raju is also producing two movies, Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, set to release during Sankranthi 2025. Besides producing, he is distributing another movie, Daaku Maharaj. He is confident that all three films will be successful.
Earlier, after a stampede incident during a premiere of Pushpa 2, Komatireddy had announced a ban on benefit shows in Telangana.
