It has been one year since the tragic stampede at Sandhya theatre during the release of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
In the incident a woman named Revathi lost her life and her son Sri Teja suffered serious injuries. He is still undergoing treatment and recovering slowly.
Producer Bunny Vas also addressed this issue today during a press meet. Later, producer Dil Raju, who was appointed by the Telangana government as a mediator, met Bhaskar and checked on Sri Teja’s condition.
He explained that Allu Arjun gave Rs. 2 crore, kept in a fixed deposit, along with Rs. 70 lakh for medical expenses.
The interest from the deposit is helping with monthly needs. After Bhaskar requested more help, Allu Arjun agreed to support the treatment for another 6–12 months.
