Karan Johar shares a close bond with many Bollywood celebrities and is active as a host and producer who has worked with top stars.
Recently he shocked everyone by unfollowing some popular names like Shah Rukh, Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan and Manish Malhotra on social media.
At the same time he still follows stars like Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt which led to much more confusion.
Later, Karan clarified on Instagram that it is just a “digital detox” to reduce his time and focus on social media.
He asked all not to treat it as big news. Currently he is busy with several projects under Dharma Productions and is not directing any film recently.
