Yash Raj Films gave Nawazuddin Siddiqui control of Ranveer Singh so that he could prepare him for Band Baaja Baaraat.

Ranveer Singh is now making news for his song “What Jhumka” from the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. In the song, Ranveer and Alia Bhatt dance to a spirited rendition of the timeless tune Jhumka Gira Re Bareily Ke Bazaar Mein. The actor began his career with Band Baaja Baaraat and is getting ready to return after a break from the box office with Cirkus, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and 83.

Ranveer is apparently preparing for his new chapter with Dharma Productions after parting ways amicably with the talent management company of Yash Raj Films. It’s interesting to note that Karan Johar did not approve of his Band Baaja Baaraat audition! Aditya Chopra nevertheless cast him.

Do you know who trained Ranveer Singh as an actor for his prestigious Yash Raj debut when he was cast as Bitto Sharma in BBB? None other than Nawazuddin Siddiqui was there. In an interview, the Tiku Weds Sheru star affirmed this. Even more, he explained why he stopped coaching Ranveer in between lessons and what he taught him.

In an interview Nawazuddin Siddiqui disclosed that he helped Ranveer Singh prepare for his feature film debut. Us samay ek film ban rahi thi, Band Baaja Baarat, he exclaimed. Unhe training is what we do here at Uske Liye. wagairah padhata tha acting. Wo kaam maine kuch hi din kiya, thus. Yash Raj ke saath, wo ek dedh mahine ka kaam tha. Main chhod chaad ke bhaag gaya lekin mujhe phir kaam mil gaya. Wo actor ne poori ki thi, coaching phir kisi. (A movie called Band Baaja Baaraat was being created at the time. I used to teach him acting and other things while I prepared him for the movie. I was given a 45-day schedule by Yash Raj Films, but I departed after receiving a sizable job offer. I left the training mid-way

As a result, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s acting abilities can be credited for some of Ranveer Singh’s most memorable performances. Although the two performers have never been together on screen, it would be intriguing to watch them in a movie. They were, nevertheless, very close to being paired up in Kabir Khan’s 83. In the movie where Ranveer plays Kapil Dev, there were rumors that Nawaz will play the coach. The Gang of Wasseypur actor eventually denied the rumors, though.

Even Nawazuddin Siddiqui must believe he did a fantastic job changing Ranveer Singh into Bittoo Sharma when discussing his teaching.
