Reminisce about the moment Kangana Ranaut spoke candidly about the neurotic roles she was receiving after fashion.
One of Bollywood’s many talented actresses, Kangana Ranaut has made a name for herself in the industry via perseverance and hard work. She is renowned for dropping truth bombs about Bollywood, including typecasting and nepotism, in addition to her acting prowess. She once discussed how her life changed after the fashion industry and how angry she felt about it in an interview.
After Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, Kangana became well-known and even got a national award for her performance. After that movie, she was, however, typecast and only received neurotic roles.
In an interview, Kangana Ranaut shared, “Fashion ke liye National award milne ke baad bhi life got a lot tougher. Fashion ke liye national award toh mila lekin yeh ek industry ne bohot accha chiz dhundi ki yeh toh bass yahi neurotic roles hi karegi aur ekdum se jo woh suicidal ho gaya hai ya drug addict ya drunk kyunki they thought baaki roles she wouldn’t be able to do. Toh usi tarah ke roles aate the humesha. Aur ekdum se as an actor main kaafi frustrate ho gayi thi ke abh main kya saari umaar aisa hi karti rahungi kya mujhe koi aur kuch nahi karneko milega.”
Kangana Ranaut continued by saying that she had never imagined entering the film industry or being referred to as a diva because she lacked “green, blue eyes” or had never placed first in any pageant, including “Miss World or Miss Universe.”
For those who are unaware, the actress’s devoted fan following has been anticipating her next role as Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency.
