Gauri Khan had doubts about Shah Rukh Khan’s aspirations for a career in Bollywood and believed her husband would be fired after one or two films.
King of romance is Shah Rukh Khan. a star who broke into the business while being an outsider. He endured a protracted period of hardship, though, during which he appeared in TV programmes, hosted shows, and gave film auditions. However, he struck it lucky when he landed Deewana and became famous over night! Gauri Khan, his wife, was not sure her husband would become the superstar he is now, though.
In fact, the entrepreneur once acknowledged that she even believed the career of the Jawan actor would not endure for long. He can be fired from the business after one or two films.
In one of Simi Garewal’s chat show appearances, Gauri Khan revealed her opinions and reservations regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s career. Gauri admitted that she had her reservations about her husband’s work before he joined her on the show.
“I don’t know, it all happened so quickly that I didn’t even think that he’s gonna be in the films like be a part of the industry,” Gauri confessed when asked about her prognosis of the Pathaan actor’s career. I assumed he would just act in one or two films. Without recognising it, I guess I simply assumed it would be like filming a serial or something.I anticipated that he would certainly fail.
She continued, “Really, I thought it was all rubbish, he’ll just do one or two films and he’ll just be thrown out and then that’s it,” which further demonstrated her ignorance of her husband’s talent.
But given that SRK became a success after his first movie, Deewana, in which he played Rishi Kapoor’s love interest and played the parallel lead, fate undoubtedly had different ideas for the actor.
On Reddit’s BollyBlindsNGossips forum, this video clip of Gauri Khan confessing about her husband’s career reappeared on social media. Netizens reacted to the cute interaction between SRK and Gauri and even commented on how she managed to control the superstar!
One user wrote: “Alpha wife. he managed his expectations, hehe. A different user noted that “He practise the law of attraction, whether knowingly or unknowingly.” Some have even claimed that Shah Rukh Khan is to blame for Yash Raj Films’ monopoly. “No way,” the comment read. It’s possible that YRF wouldn’t be where it is now either. Oh, I am so delighted he did more than two pictures, a fan wrote. Without Sharukh and his flicks, the world is lacking.
