We’re going back in time today to when Esha Deol, the actress from Dream Girl, was expecting her first child and Dharam’s mother visited her on the film’s set.
In case you didn’t know, Dharam was previously wed to Prakash Kaur, and the former couple has four children together who go by the names Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta, and Ajeita. When Sunny’s son Karan Deol wed in a magnificent ceremony, we witnessed Deol Khandaan, but Hema was not seen in the ceremonies.
When Hema Malini was pregnant with her first girl, she met Satwant Kaur on the filming set of her movie, according to a story she once told in her biography.
Her biography was authored by Ram Kamal Mukherjee, who wrote, “Dharamji’s mother Satwant Kaur was equally warm and kind-hearted. I remember how she came to meet me once at a dubbing studio in Juhu after I had conceived Esha. She hadn’t informed anyone in the house. I touched her feet, and she hugged me and said, “Beta, khush raho hamesha (Be happy always).” I was happy that they were happy with me.”
In contrast, it is said that Dharam Ji wed Hema Malini in 1980 without divorcing his first spouse. The actress discussed her relationship with Sunny Deol, who happens to be her stepson, at the autobiography’s premiere.
