Ram Charan is presently busy shooting for his upcoming mega-budget flick, RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli. Last year, he had produced his father’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which received a lukewarm response at the box office. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi had signed a film with director Koratala Siva. Even though the project has been on for a long time, the shooting got postponed multiple times due to unknown reasons. Now, we have learned that it was Ram Charan who was one of the reasons for the project’s delay. When Chiranjeevi listened to the film’s script from Koratala Siva, he was convinced that Ram Charan should do a meaty role in the film.
It is said that Megastar even requested Koratala Siva not to look out for any other actor for the role. Since Charan was busy with SS Rajamouli’s RRR, he couldn’t devote time to his father and Koratala Siva’s film. Now, it looks like the young actor will join the shoot in the coming days. Meanwhile, reports were rife that Chiranjeevi had to undergo rigorous training sessions at the gym to lose weight to look his part. He will start shooting for the film soon while Charan is expected to shoot the combination scenes sometime in May.
