Did NTR really steal Puri’s script?

Jr. NTR aka Tarak is known as one of the respectable stars of Telugu Cinema. He has been respectful to each and every person in the Industry and to those writers who have worked with him or others as well. He is known for praising everyone whole heatedly like a kid when he is excited by looking at anyone’s good work. But the gossip that Jr. NTR stole a character idea from Puri Jagannath as spread like wild fire and many started commenting like he really did that.

Well, going into the details, A source from Paisa Vasool sets have claimed that Puri Jagannath is highly upset since his 100 crores film idea where a lead will have stammer and he will pray, believe Ravana, has been used for Jai character in NTR’s next film Jai Lava Kusa. Actually, the actor and director had a lengthy discussion for more than two months to come together for a movie but it fell through and both went on to their respective projects. NTR started his Jai Lava Kusa and Puri started his, Paisa Vasool. But movies are slated for a release during Dussehra this year.

The source said, “Puri is highly upset and did not mice words in calling NTR a “script choir” in front of his team members. He wanted to make a big budget film with such a character but as NTR needed some changes in the script and Puri is not comfortable with them, both decided to join hands for some other script some other day. But this Jai teaser has upset the director like anything.”

Well, we could not ask Puri about it but director Bobby responded saying, “This is all rubbish. It was my idea and part of original script I presented to NTR right in October after his Jonathan Garage. I’m not aware of anybody having the same idea and Tarak never discussed with me to change anything in my script to such drastic level as well. Wait till the movie releases and you will understand if my movie is original or not.”
