Nithiin is overjoyed as his recently released film Bheeshma is running successfully at the theatres. Director Venky Kudumula’s film, which released on February 21, has received a positive response from the critics and audience. The actor’s happiness is doubled as he is all set to get married to the love of his life Shalini on April 15 in Delhi. A few days ago, Nithiin announced his next film with director Merlapaka Gandhi. The new film is the Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster hit Andhadhun, which also won National Awards. While Nithiin will reprise Ayushmann Khurrana’s role in Telugu, the makers are looking to finalise the cast.

Reportedly, the team had approached Hindi actress Tabu to reprise her role in the Telugu remake as well. However, it looks like she demanded Rs 1 crore as salary. Since it was too high for the production house, they decided to look for another heroine to perform Tabu’s role in the film. Reportedly, director Merlapaka Gandhi found Anasuya Bharadwaj to be the perfect fit for the role and also finalised her for the same. The film’s shooting began a couple of days ago with a customary pooja. Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy and sister Nikitha Reddy will be producing the film, under the production house Sreshth Movies.
