Dhurandhar 2 is one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema with huge expectations around it. The team is very confident about the film which is why they did not rush to finalize its OTT deal earlier.
The first part’s digital rights were sold to Netflix for Rs. 85 crores and the film is currently trending at the top.
Now, Dhurandhar 2 has created a bigger buzz in the digital space. Jio Hotstar has bought the OTT rights for a massive Rs. 150 crores, making it a record deal.
Jio Studios had planned to finalize the deal only after the release of the first part and Jio Hotstar emerged as the frontrunner.
The film is set to release in theatres on March 19th. Director Aditya Dhar is currently working on the final touches and Ranveer Singh plays the lead role in this high octane spy thriller.
