Dhruva and my next movies will be good different for me – Ram Charan

Dhruva starring Ram Charan Tej, Aravind Swamy, Rakul Preet Singh, Navadeep directed by Surrender Reddy is ready for release tomorrow. The movie is carrying a lot of positive buzz and it is the first big budget movie to be released after Demonetization. Makers are a bit nervous but confident that they should be able to recover with good word of mouth after a week of its release. The normal benefit shows are also been cancelled as the cash crunch in the Nation is at its highest. The makers are happy with the advance bookings of the movie and Charan as part of promotions talked to press before leaving to USA for premieres.

During the interaction Ram Charan looked pretty cool and shared few interesting things about his next movies and Dhruva.Before Dhruva being materialised, Suri was in talks with Ram Charan for another subject but once ceeded distributor and ace producer, N.V. Prasad approached Ram Charan with the idea of remaking Thani Oruvan, Ram Charan liked the idea and insisted Suri to make it with him. Ram Charan said that more than him or the production team, Suri even though took it up unwillingly owned it completely and tried to make it better than original.

Talking about the changes, Ram Charan said that he was happy with the new additions and as he heard many complaining about the dominating Villain, Suri dialed it down a bit and improved on Charan’s character more than in the original. Ram Charan said it won’t be good for younger minds taking inspiration from Aravind’s character so few changes were done to fit the family viewing. Charan said he was happy to make the original as it is as well and he did not insist on making many changes as the story would loose it innovation.

Talking about his immediate next with Sukumar he said that character would be funny and different from Dhruva. After Sukumar film, he is in talks with Koratala Siva and that movie will start after both of them finish their commitments and Mani Ratnam film will also be happening next year. After Sankranthi, Ram Charan revealed that he will start his work with Sukumar and did not reveal much about the movie. He said he is learning from all of his movies and will wish to continue doing the same.
