Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil promised a ‘lit’ trailer for his upcoming movie Dhoomam and it’s safe to say that the video delivers on all aspects moviegoers expect from the director. The film, helmed by Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar, will mark KGF and Kantara producers Hombale Films’ debut Malayalam production and has all the trappings of an intriguing thriller from the mind of the maker of movies such as Lucia and U-Turn.
The trailer which was released through social media pages promises to be an intriguing thriller. The video starts off by introducing Fahadh’s character as someone who pitches a smoking warning ad to a board room, before showing glimpses of a kidnapping and random planning everything with the intention of becoming rich. The movie hints at multiple twists and betrayals, and based on previous works of Pawan, is expected to be placed in an intriguing narration part.
Pawan had said that he had no regrets about making the movie in Malayalam, even though he had initially planned it in Kannada as C10H14N2 and spent a lot of time and effort to get it made in the language. Dhoomam is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 23rd.
