Dhoom Dhaam Movie Review & Rating.!

Dhoom Dhaam is a family comedy entertainer directed by Sai Kishore, starring Chetan Maddineni and Hebba Patel in the lead roles. It is one of the six films released this week. Given the competition, it’s a notable achievement that it stands out among so many films. Let’s see how well this film has managed to impress the audience!

Story: Karthik (Chetan Maddineni), who grows up with immense love for his father, admires his father’s way of life and falls in love with Suhana (Hebba Patel). Problems arise when it is decided that the two should get married. What are these problems? How does Karthik deal with them? Is he finally able to marry Suhana? These are the central questions explored in Dhoom Dhaam.

Performances: Chetan Maddineni, the hero of the film, has taken a break from films to focus on acting classes. Whenever Vennela Kishore delivers a dialogue involving “expressions” in the film, it feels like a satire when Chetan appears on screen. If Chetan continues to appear with a sense of detachment from the scene, people will stop caring unless he improves as an actor.

Vennela Kishore is the highlight of the film, more than anyone else. Especially in the sitting scene, his dialogues with senior actors like NTR, Ayyannar, and Krishna, along with his “expressions,” left a strong impression. Since Hebba Patel has already played many roles like this, she performed comfortably within her comfort zone. Goparaju Ramana, Vinay Varma, Banerjee, Naveen Neni, Praveen, and others gave decent performances.

Technical Aspects: Music director Gopi Sundar’s songs are very melodious, and the background music is also impressive. Siddharth Ramaswamy’s cinematography is decent. First and foremost, the producer, who took so many artists to Poland, deserves appreciation. Every frame of the film reflects that there was no hesitation when it came to the budget. In recent times, we haven’t seen so many artists in a single frame. The story provided by Gopi Mohan is very simple, and similar concepts have already been explored.

Analysis: Firstly, the way director Sai Kishore Machcha handled the story lacks basic depth. It is noteworthy that there isn’t a single element in the film that will impress the audience throughout. At a time when the audience is increasingly exposed to a wide variety of films, it is unrealistic to expect to impress them with the same old routine commercial films.

Audiences today are more discerning and crave fresh, innovative storytelling. Even a familiar, routine story can be made interesting if presented in a new and engaging way. Unfortunately, the director did not take this opportunity to refresh the narrative or approach. Instead, Dhoom Dhaam relied on a formulaic approach without adding any unique elements.

Despite having a large, impressive cast and solid technical aspects, the film fails to stand out. The lack of creativity in storytelling, coupled with the failure to engage the audience emotionally, left Dhoom Dhaam unable to make even a minimal impact and ended as a boring affair.

Verdict: Overall, Dhoom Dhaam is a badly made film that fails to register with the audience. Right from the story to its execution, things hardly make any sense in this film which can be left alone this weekend.
