‘Summer Holidays’ is one of the latest Telugu releases. The film was originally planned for last month but was postponed and released this week due to ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’.
It received a decent response with many viewers appreciating its nostalgic feel. However, the makers are unhappy with the low audience turnout.
At a press interaction, the team expressed disappointment over the poor footfalls. Producer Dheeraj Mogilneni promoted the film well before its release, but audiences are showing more interest in ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Scene’. Interestingly, both are dubbed films.
Actor Rohan said audiences are missing good Telugu films while looking for gold in other language movies.
Dheeraj urged families to watch ‘Summer Holidays’ in theatres, saying social media praise and OTT views would not help the film’s box-office performance.
