Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni has indirectly criticised Naga Vamsi over repeated film postponements, saying they affect smaller movies.
His film Summer Holidays was scheduled for October 30th but was pushed to November 5th after Aadarsha Kutumbam moved to October 30th.
Dheeraj said he had already spent money on promotions and discussed release plans with distributors. Now, he must borrow money for marketing and other expenses again.
He recalled a similar issue involving Lenin and urged big producers to consider smaller films before changing release dates. Citing the Tamil industry, he said filmmakers coordinate to avoid clashes.
Dheeraj stressed that Telugu producers need better communication for sure and should respect release plans as postponements can cause serious financial problems for small budget films.
