Filmmaker Abhinav Singh has accused cinematographer Pratik Shah of emotional abuse and manipulation. Singh initially shared his story on Instagram without naming anyone but later revealed Pratik’s name, claiming nearly 20 women had reached out to him with similar experiences.
Following the growing attention online, Dharma Productions, under whose banner Homebound was produced, issued a statement.
They clarified that Pratik worked on Homebound only as a freelancer for a limited period and that no complaints were received against him by their Prevention of Sexual Harassment committee during that time.
Dharma also reiterated its strict zero tolerance policy against any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior on their sets.
Shortly after being named, Pratik Shah deleted his Instagram account. Meanwhile, Abhinav Singh continues to highlight the issue, stating his inbox is filled with messages from women sharing similar experiences.
