Dhanush is reportedly preparing to enter Tamil Nadu politics with a new party. Reports claimed that he had registered the name Tamilaga Ezhuchi Kazhagam with the Election Commission.
However, his representatives denied that the name has been registered yet. They confirmed that Dhanush will launch a political party, but said its name and other details will be announced later.
Meanwhile, Dhanush has been strengthening his fan network across Tamil Nadu. His fan clubs are involved in welfare activities, while district level appointments and membership drives are also underway.
His recent meetings with fan-club members have increased speculation about his political plans.
Reports suggest that he may skip the upcoming elections and target the 2031 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls. The party’s name, flag, ideology and plans are expected soon.
