Dhanush’s film with Sekhar Kammula to begin next year

It’s been a while since a film between Sekhar Kammula and Dhanush was announced. It was the first straight Telugu movie for Dhanush to be announced, followed by which, the actor’s film with director Venky Atluri, Sir, was announced. While Sir is currently in the shooting stages, Sekhar Kammula’s film is yet to begin.

Sekhar Kammula’s last release, Love Story, was in the making for more than a year due to the pandemic and finally was released last year. The director is also known to take his own time when it comes to his films, and similarly, the case with Dhanush’s film is also said to be the same. The director is said to be working on the script right now, having already gotten a nod from Dhanush after narrating the basic idea.

The shooting is expected to begin for this film next year, and there’s no update on when the movie will be released. On the other hand, there have been speculations that Sai Pallavi would be the leading lady of the film, but there’s no official confirmation yet.
