Dhanush is back in the spotlight after receiving two honours at the 72nd National Film Awards.
However his recent interaction with reporters has also sparked curiosity about his possible political entry.
After returning from Gujarat, reporters asked Dhanush when he planned to start a political party. The actor simply smiled and laughed before walking away without answering anything.
His simple reaction has led to fresh discussions among fans and on social media but Dhanush has not made any official announcement about entering politics.
His film Raayan won Best Tamil Film, while his performance in Captain Miller received a Special Mention. Dhanush is now preparing for Om: Chapter 1 – Udhiram: The Blood Wood, releasing on October 16, 2026.
