The Telugu FIlm Industry is currently producing the maximum number of pan-Indian films in the country. Producers and actors are going all out to make sure that their films will appeal to the Indian audiences as a whole.
In the meantime, several Kollywood actors are all set for their Tollywood debut, including Vijay, Suriya and Dhanush, all of whom have signed straight Telugu films with Telugu directors.. Vijay’s film is going to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally, while Dil Raju is the producer. Dil Raju agreed to give Vijay a whopping Rs. 100 Crores as remuneration as well. Suriya is in talks with Boyapati Srinu and Trivikram.
On the other hand, Dhanush has okayed Sekhar Kammula’s script. There are a lot of expectations on all these films, and especially Dhanush’s film with Sekhar, given that it’s a unique combination. However, this combination wouldn’t go to sets until next year, as Dhanush is currently busy with other commitments. The same goes for Vijay and Suriya, who are expected to start shooting for their Telugu films next year, as they are currently occupied with their other commitments. The tentative release date expectations for these films is 2023. While audiences are excited to see these actors in straight Telugu films, they’ll have to wait for some time before that can happen.
