NTR’s next pan India film, “Devara,” generated excitement among fans when its release date was announced for April 5th, 2024. With a two-week stretch of continuous holidays, it seemed like a perfect blockbuster window. However, despite the anticipation of a solo big release, the reality is that other star heroes’ films are also eyeing this lucrative period.
The dynamic nature of the film industry, marked by frequent release date changes, has made it increasingly likely for “Devara” to face competition. Producer Dil Raju plans to unveil “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, around the end of March or the beginning of April. Megastar Chiranjeevi, in collaboration with Kalyan Krishna, also targets the same timeframe for his release.
Adding to the mix is Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s “Pushpa 2,” which boasts immense anticipation and could impact the box office performance of any film released alongside it. Even Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated project “OG,” initially set for a December release, has now been pushed to April 2024.
As a result, the summer of 2024 is shaping up to be a battleground for big star-studded movies. This means that NTR’s “Devara” will not enjoy a solo release and will face tough competition from other major films seeking to capitalize on the lucrative summer season.
