Devara: NTR’s Break Time Between Sequels!

Star filmmaker Koratala Siva initially planned to create ‘Devara’ as a single movie but decided to split it into two parts for a more detailed storytelling approach. This decision gained momentum when the leading actor, NTR, supported the idea, leading to an official confirmation. The anticipation for the first part’s release, scheduled for April 5th, 2024, is sky-high.

Now, the focus shifts to the gap between the release of the two parts. Reports suggest a significant interval between them, unlike the close releases seen in movies like ‘Baahubali.’ NTR, who is set to appear in ‘War 2’ for the Hindi audience, aims to complete filming his part in ‘Devara 1’ by December.

Following this, he plans to start filming ‘War 2’ from January, which might extend for a few months. What adds an interesting twist is the possibility of NTR collaborating with director Prasanth Neel before ‘Devara 2.’ Despite ‘Salaar’ releasing in December 2023, reports indicate Neel’s eagerness to commence his project with NTR promptly.

If this collaboration occurs before ‘Devara 2,’ it could delay the commencement of the latter until 2025. This delay might provide Koratala Siva with ample time to refine the script for the second part. The unfolding of these events remains highly anticipated in the industry.
