After the blockbuster “Janatha Garage“, Jr NTR and director Koratala Siva teamed up again for the movie “Devara“. Produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni under the banner of Yuva Sudha Arts and presented by NTR Arts, the film generated a lot of buzz with its songs, trailer, and promotional material.
“Devara” was released on September 27th which is yesterday. Although the movie received mixed reviews due to high expectations after “RRR“, it still opened to strong box office numbers.

The movie “Devara” had a theatrical business of Rs. 174.4 crores and needs to earn Rs. 175 crores to break even. On the first day, it brought Rs. 90.7 crores, setting new records. To break even, the film still needs to collect Rs. 84.3 crores. There’s a good chance it will reach this target over the weekend.
