Mani Sharma after many years came up with an album that stands true to hs potential to score all kinds of songs. For Devadas movie starring Nagarjuna and Nani as main leads, he came up with his best score in the recent times and most probably in the last decade.

He showed how the instruments can be mixed without one overpowering other and with less electronics use too. Emo Emo Emo from the album stands as a simple piece of soulful melody. While Vaaru Veeru brings back the swing music vibe of 60’s back in full swing.

Laka Laka Lakumikara suits the mass well and also being devotional song true to the current Ganesh Navaratri situation, it adds well to the buzz of the film. Hey Babu as a duet between both heroes and heroines serves well. Chettu Kimda Doctor comes across as an experimental piece but it is also making waves as we speak.

On the whole, total album has made a huge impact and it announces the comeback of Mani Sharma as a composer again. The movie releasing on 27th has to become a big hit for Mani to again score for big films at a stretch and according to Industry buzz, it is a sure possibility. Sriram Adittya is directing the movie and Ashwini Dutt is producing it.
