Deva Katta threatens legal consequences for stealing his “ideas”!

Deva Katta impressed one and all, with his film, Prasthanam and then he wanted to taste big success with Autonagar Surya but Naga Chaitanya starrer failed at the box office. He did Dynamite with Manchu Vishnu later and the film tanked too. Now, a popular media outlet revealed news about a fictional film with Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhar Reddy friendship as main theme. Immediately, Deva Katta decided to ask the makers of the film to be ready for the legal consequences, if they steal his idea.

He told in a series of tweets that he let the said person who is going to produce the film to let tamper one of his previous scripts and now, he doesn’t want to do so. He clearly stated that in 2017, he developed the script imagining a fictional friendship between NCBN and YSR, as a three part film series alike Godfather franchise. But he is now looking to bring it as a web-series and he pitched the idea to several OTT platforms. Hence, he is tracking the news and developments about this particular idea and project closely and even his legal team is on the duty. Well, whom did he target though, any guesses?

I hav also registered multiple versions of this script since 2017. The “idea” is being hijacked by some ppl here over several “party talks” but hope they limit their fiction to the public domain and don’t invite any legal action by copying any of my registered themes/scenes!(3/4)

This script was first written as 3 part film inspired by Godfather, which I later converted into a web series format. Our team have pitched this idea to some major OTT platforms and our legal team is closely following up with this news!! (4/4)

Earlier this same person stole another script I pitched directly and made a disaster out of it!! This time I won’t let him toil another exciting script out of sheer respect for YSR gaaru and CBN gaaru!!
