Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s second film, SR Kalyanamandapam had its theatrical release yesterday. Opened to below-par reports, the film had witnessed solid openings in twin Telugu states.
As per the trade reports, the film has minted a share of Rs 1.5 crore on its first day which is considering an extraordinary opening for a small film. Despite the ongoing Covid circumstances and ticket price issue across Andhra Pradesh, SR Kalyanamandapam has taken a flying start at the box office and set as a ray of hope for many upcoming films and distributors across the twin Telugu states. Reportedly, if the film continues to perform on par with the opening day on today and tomorrow, it has fair chances to enter into the profits zone and end up as a commercial success.
Directed by Sridhar Gade, SR Kalyanamandapam also has Sai Kumar in a key role. Young heroine Priyanka Jawalkar’s glamour show has been receiving a good response from the youth audience. Chaitan Bharadwaj has scored music for the film.
