The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan, held a meeting with a group of Tollywood producers Today.
The purpose of the meeting was for the Telugu producers to request government support through ticket price hikes and additional showtimes to boost box office returns during these challenging times.
It was a positive experience for the producers to meet Pawan Kalyan, a fellow Telugu cinema superstar, especially compared to the previous tensions with the YCP government.
State Minister of Cinematography Kandula Durgesh also attended the meeting. Other producers present included Allu Aravind, C. Ashwini Dutt, A.M. Ratnam, S. Radhakrishna, Dil Raju, Bogavalli Prasad, DVV Danayya, Supriya, NV Prasad, Bunny Vasu, Naveen Erneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Nagavamshi, TG Vishwa Prasad, Vamsi Krishna, and others.
They discussed the problems and opportunities for the Telugu film industry, as well as its potential expansion in the state.
