Deepika to play Ranveer’s wife in ’83’

We all know that Ranveer Singh is all set to play Kapil Dev in ’83′, which the biopic of the legendary cricketer. The shoot of the film has gone on floors recently and it will mostly take place in Dharamshala and Mumbai areas. This film is about India winning World Cup in 1983.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that star heroine and Ranveer Singh’s better half Deepika Padukone will be essaying Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev’s role in this film. While all of us were waiting to know about who would be playing Romi, Ranveer revealed the big update. The film also has many noted stars in key roles.

Vishnu Induri is presenting the film and is tentatively scheduled for an April 2020 release.

Ranveer and Deepika, together, have made films like Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat till now and all these films have been huge hits at the box office. Their pair is pretty much popular since then.
