Deepika Padukone is currently busy shooting AA22xA6, directed by Atlee and starring Allu Arjun. Recently, she made news for walking out of two big Telugu films, the Kalki 2898 AD sequel and Spirit with Prabhas.
She faced a lot of negativity for her decision so she addressed the issue in her interview.
Deepika clarified that she did not leave those films because of money or dates. She said the size or budget of a film no longer affects her choices.
She also explained that huge productions can be very demanding and tiring. According to her, even if people offer a lot of money, it doesn’t make the work environment easier. She believes that working eight hours a day is enough and that health should come first.
Her comments show that she stepped away for her wellbeing. Triptii Dimri has now joined Spirit, while the Kalki sequel team is yet to confirm her replacement.
