Deepika Padukone has become the first Indian to lend her voice to Meta AI the virtual assistant created by Meta.
While Awkwafina and Judi Dench are already part of this initiative, Deepika’s inclusion marks a proud moment for India. She now represents a blend of global technology and Indian identity.
According to Meta, Indian users will be able to interact with Meta AI in Indian English using Deepika’s voice.
The company also launched Hindi language support and UPI Lite payments aiming to make the experience more relatable and convenient for Indian users. Meta believes Deepika’s voice will add a warm, emotional touch to AI interactions.
Alongside her acting career and top brand endorsements, this collaboration adds another milestone to Deepika’s achievements. She is currently filming Shah Rukh Khan’s King and Allu Arjun‘s project.
